About the role:

An opportunity exists at The Hills Shire Council for a temporary full time Senior Venues Bookings Officer to join our Venues Bookings Team. This position is responsible for managing Council's online booking software system to ensure council requirements are met as well as facilitating the sales processes in a timely manner.

Duties include:

  • Resolve high level or escalated customer requests, enquiries and complaints.
  • Follow up on fee defaults & refer to Council collection office on a needs basis.
  • Undertake system testing for new software releases Schedule events.
  • Process customer transactions.
  • Take customer bookings.
  • Recommend system improvements and enhancements.
  • Assist with marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties specified by the supervisor/manager.

About you:

To be considered for this role you will possess:

  1. 3+ years demonstrated experience in venue management or equivalent
  2. Significant experience in a fast paced, high volume customer service environment
  3. Experience in the administration of online booking systems. Experience with Bookable online software system is highly desirable.
