SUBDIVISION TECHNICAL OFFICER Part Time - 2 days/14 hours per week 12 Months Fixed Term

About the role:

Are you competent and experienced in Subdivision and Strata Certificate processes and in providing technical administrative support? Our Subdivision & Development Certification team has an opportunity for a Subdivision Technical Officer in a temporary part time capacity.

Duties include:

  • Manage the pre-checking, lodgement (including the use of the Planning Portal), assessment and preparation of Subdivision Certificate and Strata Certificate applications;
  • Prepare and coordinate assessment reports for Subdivision Certificate and Strata Certificate applications;
  • Prepare plans and other legal documents for signing including under Council seal;
  • Review and submit for approval road naming request subject to Council and State guidelines;
  • Prepare reports to Council for property dealings relating to development matters;
  • Prepare and issue development consent bundles to applicants, objectors and other external Authorities (including the use of the Planning Portal);
  • Maintain a register of security bonds relating to development matters;
  • Record construction inspection and results;
  • Resolve customer phone and online enquiries;
  • Assist with the maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes;

About you:

To be considered for this role you will need to possess:

  1. Administrative experience in land development with a minimum 3 years' working experience in a similar role;
  2. Proficient and demonstrated experience using Windows based office software and digital annotation software such as Trapeze;
  3. Competent using Council's ECM and Pathway systems;
  4. Excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills.
