About the role:

The purpose of this position is to establish, lead, develop and maintain the early childhood curriculum and educational program activities for children in the 0-6 year old age group consistent with expectations under the early years learning framework.

Duties include:

  • Actively supervise children and ensure their wellbeing.
  • Assume responsibility as 'Responsible Officer' as needed in the absence of the Centre Director.
  • Assume responsibility as the Educational Leader
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations with enrolled families.
  • Develop, review and maintain curriculum activities that exceed the national quality standard ratings.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  2. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent under NSW Education
  3. First Aid - Education and Care Setting
  4. First Aid - CPR
  5. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
  6. Working with Children Check

Position details:

Permanent Full-time role, S0631, Salary: From $75K for 3 year trained or from $79K for 4 year trained + Superannuation. Due to operational requirements you may be asked to deploy to any of Councils centres.
