About the role:
There is an opportunity for a Civil Works Assistant to join The Hills Shire Council's Infrastructure and Works Group. You will work with the Road Patching Team in completing a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of Council's Civil Infrastructure.
- Potholes and asphalt patching
- Setting up traffic management
- Labouring duties
To be considered for this role you will possess:
1. Experience in civil road maintenance or construction
2. Minimum MR driver's licence or willingness to obtain
3. School Certificate
4. WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Training ‘Whitecard'
5. Willingness to obtain traffic control ticket and asbestos removal
6. Confident in the use of an iPad
7. Physically fit to perform manual labour
