COMMUNITY TRANSPORT BUS DRIVER

About the role:

There is an opportunity for a Community Transport Bus Driver within The Hills Shire Council's Hills Community Care Team. The prime function of this role is to safely transport Hills Community Care customers in accordance with responsibilities specified within the Work Health & Safety Act 2011, Aged Care Quality Standards and the Commonwealth Home Support program funding agreements and supporting guidelines

Duties include:

  • Safe transport of all Hills Community Care Transport at all times as per the HCC Transport Roster and driver run sheets
  • Cleanliness of vehicles is maintained
  • Adherence to all vehicle maintenance reporting procedures
  • High level customer satisfaction

About you:

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced Bus Driver and will possess:

  1. Class LR License or greater
  2. Bus Driver Authority
  3. Current First Aid Certificate
  4. Minimum of 3 years bus driving experience preferred
  5. Experience working with frail aged people preferred
