COORDINATOR - COMMUNITY AND EVENTS

An opportunity exists for an individual who has a creative flare for community projects and events to join our Community Outcomes Team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to develop new ideas, coordinate the strategic operations of the Council Events program, Community activities and volunteer programs.

The successful candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach to their work and share our team's commitment to providing value to our customers, approaching tasks enthusiastically and working together as a team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Project Management, Event Management or Community Development tertiary qualifications is desirable
  • 5 years+ Supervisory, Community and/or Event experience in a similar capacity
  • High level conflict management and customer service skills
  • Ability to influence, engage and negotiate with a range of stakeholders
  • Political acumen
  • A creative flare with new innovative ideas

This is a permanent full-time role (35 hours per week) - Position No. S0842

Salary Range: $93,099 - $97,701 pa + 9% Superannuation + $12,114 pa Car Allowance
