WASTE SERVICES/PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

An opportunity exists for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and manual labour to join our Civil Works Team.
At The Hills Shire Council we are dedicated to delivering quality service and infrastructure to our community.
We are seeking someone who has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a team environment. The successful applicant will carry out a variety of tasks associated with the removal of waste, cleansing of public places and minor asphalt works.
The successful candidate will have:
- WHS Induction Training for Construction work in NSW (Whitecard), or preparedness to obtain such a qualification
- Experience in the civil maintenance/construction industry
- Ability to communicate in written and oral form
- Minimum MR drivers licence or willingness to obtain
- Experience in the operation of a garbage compactor
This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) - Position No. W0029
Salary Range: $55,393 - $57,996 pa + Superannuation
