CIVIL WORKS ASSISTANT - ASPHALT WORKS

An opportunity exists for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and manual labour to join our Civil Works Team.
At The Hills Shire Council we are dedicated to delivering quality service and infrastructure to our community.
We are seeking someone who has a positive attitude and can work in a team environment. The successful applicant will work with the Road Patching Team to complete a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of Council's Civil Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in civil road maintenance or construction
- Minimum MR drivers licence or willingness to obtain
- School Certificate
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Training ‘Whitecard'
- Willingness to obtain traffic control ticket and asbestos removal
- Confident in the use of an iPad
- Physically fit to perform manual labour
This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) - Position No. W0045
Salary Range: $55,393 - $57,996 pa + Superannuation
