An opportunity exists for an individual who enjoys manual labour and working outdoors to join our Civil Works team.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Trades Assistant to assist with a variety of trade related duties associated with the maintenance and construction of civil and parks infrastructure.
Tasks include maintenance of street/park furniture, play grounds, painting, metal/steel fabrication, park/road signage, concreting and minor paving.
The candidate will also share our organisations commitment to providing value to our customers, approaching tasks enthusiastically and working collaboratively with their team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade qualifications and/or experience in a building trade related field
- Class C Motor Vehicle Licence
- Class MR Vehicle Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Induction training for construction work in NSW (Whitecard) or the preparedness to obtain such a qualification
- Sound knowledge of WHS practices
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral form
This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week)
Salary Range: $55,393 - $57,996 pa + Superannuation
